The Royal New Zealand Air Force Band Concert, brings world‑class music to the Kāpiti Coast in a vibrant celebration of talent, service, and community spirit. The RNZAF Band is one of the country’s premier musical ensembles, known for its exceptional musicianship and dynamic performances across classical, ceremonial, jazz, and contemporary styles. Their concerts attract audiences of all ages, offering an uplifting experience that blends precision, energy, and the joy of live music.
By hosting this special event for the 10th year, the Waikanae Lions continue their long tradition of supporting initiatives that strengthen and enrich the local community. Proceeds from the concert help fund Lions projects and services, ensuring the benefits of the evening extend well beyond the performance itself. The beneficiaries of this year’s concert will be Mary Potter Hospice who provide free specialist palliative care for people and families across Wellington.
