Waikanae Lions Club
Waikanae Lions is a Charitable Trust and part of Lions Club International – the world’s largest service club organisation with more than 1.4 million members in 49,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas worldwide. For more on Lions Club International click here.
The Waikanae Club was chartered in 1973 and today has over 50 members that represent a diverse group of men and women. All our members and volunteers take great pleasure from donating their time, knowledge and skills to the programmes we support.
Over the years we have shown a high level of engagement in our projects, raised funds for many community causes and we continue to look for new projects to get behind. We work closely with other Lions Clubs and service organisations in the Kapiti area where more hands will make a big difference.
